That's how it goes. Found a niche community I was actually interested in and made some art and even won a art contest that involved my art being used in an official product. Got a small boost but most of them fucked off when I wouldn't do free art, the other half fucked off literally the second I would post art. Like I'd post art and it would show up in their feed within seconds of me posting it and they would click the unfollow button.
