lamy polka are two sides of the same menhera that attracts only a specific niche. nene and botan are great. since there are quite a bit of failed gens out there, they are certainly above average. especially with their unique unity and collabs due to you-know-what

Botan is good and I like her singing voice even though that's not her main focus
Polka's covers are good but she doesn't stream much.
Lamy, I don't watch her but I can see she is successful in what she does like Rushia
Nene is a lot of fun.

As a whole, I don't expect anything more from any of them anymore. They've fallen into their niche and that's ok.

botan's pretty cool, best mascot in hololive

polka's main outfit is a little too extra for me and her second outfit is frumpy (this is a bad thing) but her animation update is great

nene is too high energy for me but I don't have anything bad to say about her. her hand drawn stuff is charming

I always found it amusing when people were like "Botan? Love that cute sex hag", "Nene? Love that adorable dork", "Lamy? Love that cute soft drunk", "Polka? Love that hilarious dummy", but when asked about gen 5 as a whole you'd often get "nah failed gen". Reminds me a bit of the argument people make for how each ingredient of a burger is good and healthy on its own but put together it's junk food.
Anyway gen 5 love.

Favorite gen after Gamers. I like them all and they all love Hololive despite all the setbacks they faced early on. Wamy and Nene are two of the most genuine Hololive fan-turn-talent you could ask for.
