Not just that but people forget that Vshojo has a lot of non-Vtuber fans that watch them now thanks to a lot of their connections with people like Sykkuno and OfflineTV. We've seen twitch streamers with the kind of clout Vshojo has on twitch get away with actual crimes, so when there's an oopies that all sides are trying to bury as a miscommunication, fully expect the general masses to forget about it.

I'd argue they are more incompentent because they are a freedom company. Places like Niji and Hololive have a clear management structure with someone clearly stating what is or isn't OK. Vshojo's in this mess because they don't even have that in Place.
