And yet, when you look at the top steamers and youtubers outside of vtubing, they hardly if ever turn on super chats and rely on membership and ad revenue. That tells me that in the long run, those matter to them more than a few super chats they'd get when they stream. Though, if you're a youtuber, it should all matter (superchat, subs, ad revenue from views) and not just being a the top of a list, where none of the other top competitor's are really competing, even though they easily could and win.
