Simple lore is best. The secret society concept is great and easy to explain what each girl's role is. Hololive is peaking in popularity in Japan and the last gen debut was both a year ago and a relative disappointment in terms of drawing power. It's like a cross between HoloMyth and Edengumi, I honestly doubt that Hololive will get these debut numbers again, though it's not impossible.

Avatars are important. It's vastly more difficult to get popular without a vtuber model or a face cam. It should be easy to follow that having an appealing vtuber model or face cam would help there. A sizeable population of people here don't watch regular streamers with face cams so it's just vtuber models, pngtubers, or no camera. The more visually appealing and attractive the model being the better. This also helps with art, especially lewd art, which will help get viewers sexually attracted to what they perceive a streamer as, allowing them to get milked for more super chats.
