You're not gonna make true friends. The Vtuber scene is full of people that will only approach you if you have a bigger follower count. Viewers come and go, they might show up to every single stream for a couple weeks and all the sudden you never see them again. Mix it up.

Not just in what game you stream, but:

1 - the type of game. Don't stick with MOBAs, add in a GSG, or a zatsu game. Hell, do a Skyrim challenge run
2 - the time you stream. If you normally go after work, try doing one beforehand. Do a weekend cozy stream
3 - the thing you stream. If you normally game, do a tier-list and argue with chat; or do an art stream where you make your schedules, or wigglies.
4 - the places you advertise. Do you selfpost here? Or the back front? Or in friends discords? Change which ones.
5 - the people. Reach out and organize collabs. DM me, and I'll gladly join for something I already have, that I've been wanting to pick up, or that you buy for me.

Exactly. I've said yes to every collab offer anyone approached me with, and even though some didn't work as well as they should have, they're a way to improve. Even if it's just from watching the other and seeing where they fucked up.

>>13682989
I'm not gonna say it's the same for everyone, but most chuubas will *probably* accept if you reach out with a properly formatted request for a collab:

>Hello [Chuuba], I've been enjoying your [streams/shitposting/discord] for [time], and really like [specific thing they did]. I saw you played [game/genre] OR expressed interest in [game/genre], and it's one I [play/want to play]. Would you be interested in a collab?

Make sure that you have a plan. I organized a collab last week, where a friend reached out to ask if I wanted to do one... Then left all the planning to me on what we were doing, only knocking back some suggestions, and changed plans last minute. Easy to fix (we'd planned on being on their channel, but without telling me, they decided we'd run on mine), but a minor nuisance.

paid version is like $2.50 usd after exchange rates but it's real simple to use from the ui. you need 4 png with eyes and mouths open and closed. put them into the respective boxes. set the microphone to about 60-70 so that it knows when to open your mouth when it hears you. then just hit start.

you have Ctrl + arrow keys as four different hotkeys if you have different expessions like sad, angry, blushing along with your default. make sure they have open and closed mouths too.

you can also just use veadotube which is another program some english speaker made.

They're not done because no one wants them but if it can be 3D modeled then it can be used as a vtuber. Human beings naturally look for a "face" (which is why we see faces in places there aren't faces) and it helps us associate with the thing.

Not sure what you'd want to see that isn't humanoid seeing as most monster girls are also humanoid and the ones who lack legs in favor of fins, tails, etc are human on the top half, which is all you'll ever see to begin with.

Bumping this post because it's the closest to the question i have:
Do you go right out the gate asking for paypigs? My instinct would be no. Wouldn't it be better to do the humblefag thing where you just tell people 'oh feel free to sub and like if you enjoy what you see!' for the first X amount of time [a couple weeks? a couple months? til you have # subs?]
Assuming of course that you're literally and unironically just streaming with no specific goal of making it an income source, not at first at least

There’s a handful of chuubas at the 100-200 level who use highly modified vroids. But almost all of them incline harder when they drop the vroid. A good example of this is girl dm.

I personally used a vroid for awhile but it was pretty garbage. When I dropped it for a proper model I jumped about 50 extra viewers to make of it what you will.

Maybe indies that started early or have the money to get high quality assets themselves. I haven’t seen any recent indies incline the same way corpo chuubas do. But either way, going corpo has a lot of benefits upfront that most indies don’t have at the start.
