In my opinion things are slow because there's stagnation everywhere within internet entertainment. There's only two big streaming platforms and one major video platform. Twitch and YouTube have their major creators and algorithms keeping things in line. In order for there to be a bust out moment I.E. with males or some other factor. There needs to overwhelming charisma and luck for that to take off.

Hololive just trying to stay true to Myth's formula wasn't ever going to get anyone new looking.
