Council was heavily hyped and plagued by delays and set-backs and accounts getting blocked and subscribers being lost because people were subbing to empty channels which made Youtube's algorithm panic.

If they do it on the day, there's no disappointment due to no delays nor risk of people's hype levels reaching unreasonable levels. The fact that La+ is on track to take over Sana on her first day is a sign that this is the better model to run with.

Unironically? My rrrat is that they're taking the active vshojo drama opportunity to release their gen that looks like but not looks like them. I could almost hear the advertisement:

Now Cover can come in with their own financial prowess and absolutely dominate the vtuber discussion everywhere through the rest of the year. It's almost like the JP management isn't a bunch of dumbasses and learned with Council's debut. And too be fair, having a relay day for their debuts wouldn't be a pain in the ass since the 5 of them live on the same timezone, but I much prefer this way and it also doesn't make all of their anniversaries on the same fucking day. And look, Laplace-chan had probably the biggest debut stream of Hololive history and is almost passing Sana in subs. Hopefully EN gets better management for Gen 3.

Agreed this is great
>no 5 1-hour streams on the same day
>Relays are better but no one needs a ONE HOUR for a debut that's way too long, corpo debuts shouldn't take more than 15-30 minutes. NijiEN already has figured that out.

As far as the timezones, that's just an EN problem, and it could be easily fix if they didn't keep mixing timezones per gen. It made sense for Myth since it was a new branch, but now there's no reason to mix up the timezones.

EN3 should be a EU/UK focused gen.

>> No.13617854

>>13617331
I still prefer everyone having their own anniversary date than debuting on the same day, but considering this situation I believe making a relay would keep the hype up. But yeah, the quick debut was also a good point. Most of the time they don't have content to keep up for 1 hour, so getting to the point with a quick presentation and showing your skills is the best way to start. Hopefully the other 4 can keep the rhythm. As for EN3 I just want them to do something similar to this. Announce, debut in less than a few days, no multiple teaser trailers, just one showing the talent, the theme and the dates and done. Granted, Gen 3 won't deal with the fact they're following Myth so the pressure would be way smaller. Still, EN management shouldn't repeat the same shit they did with Council, but I doubt they learned anything.

gen 6 isnt successful at all. you cant even notice it bc you are an eop. i keep saying this, but shes too anime and nerdy even for japanese. shes like someone from disgaea who overly acts like a loli demon using lots of fucking shitty anime cliches. which is not a "hololive way". the reason hololive jp became popular in japan is that their vtubers werent so nerdy or animay like that, could attract casuals and even normies.

look at her comment section. japanese dont comment so much compared to eops despite it being her first debut stream. its already becoming like haachamas comment section. these eops however will be filtered quickly since she isnt like either coco or haachama. guess what will happen there after that.
