I'm pretty sure Reine was fully conceptualized and modelled before Kiara x Subaru ever happened so it was still just a coincidence another bird appeared so short after Kiara and they got along well.
But for Mumei and Lui EN/JP management definitely knew of HoloBirds. And neither their generations nor their characters really call for a bird theme.
So it seems someone really enjoys this "natural" grouping that is happening with the birds. And with Subaru/Kiara kinda being the leader of this bird stuff I can see why. They are great senpais who can really show off a new holo in a good light.
You don't see that kind of support shoe-horned in for HoloDeath.

A lot of people are assuming that they're thinking Cover's motives of introducing a new bird includes "they will join holobirds". But while that might be brought it up, I think what actually happened is different. Way back before Kiara, birds didn't seem high up on the list of animals to be incorporated as a bird theme. When Kiara and Subaru started doing bird things, that probably brought birds up as a new go-to when trying to think of character ideas.
Nowadays it's a mainstay. Birds have massive biodiversity. There's a lot of inspiration potential that comes from that. They can still do things like an ostrich, kiwi bird, pelican, seagull, parrot, raven, woodpecker, heron... and there are also more legends to draw from like the Roc or the Sirens.

I kinda doubt management is specifically adding more birds. Holobird was not a really a concept prior to Kiara because Subaru was not meant to be a duck character at all. Her being a duck is just a meme from her cursed ASMR. The Holotori idea technically came from Subaru after she watched Kiara’s debut and got playfully offended that she wasn’t Kiara’s oshi despite her being a “fellow” bird. Afaik, it was only then that she fully accepted and played into her duck-ness. Then they communicated and got along and somehow also got along with the next birb that debuted. “Turducken” unironically solidified because of Redd*t and how Coco loved to feature memes that featured them.

Dunno what the style is called, but seeing the new gen in the same design as most of the recent outfits for older jps, has me worried for the new myth outfits.
Hoodies, belts, zippers all in a general school uniform style, gonna assume it all ties into the big game project or whatever it's called. Unified style for the school/starting zone. Pushing the LORE for council so hard could fit in as well to establish them before their 2nd outfit takes them into modern business-casual.
That said Kiara acutally has a use case for business clothes so maybe it wont be too bad.
