Is there any vtuber and/or fan community that isn't actively encouraging self-destructive codependency on each other? I'm tired of dealing with schizos and I'm tired of feeling like shit when I miss a stream. I just want some streamers who are genuinely entertaining & whose fanbase isn't consistent entirely of lovely men paying money to be noticed or who publicly fantasize about fucking their oshi.

Women are meh streamers and 95% of them make subpar content. Sex sells, so they sell sex to you. If people were suddenly no longer sexually attracted to them, most of them would become 2 views except for the great entertainers.

I myself can easily remain oshiless and restrain myself from donating out of attention-whoring desires, but it's the fact that so many vtubers fall into conventions that encourage this, as well as how much of this community in general encourages it, that makes it so hard to find quality streams. Even the non-idol vtubers often fall into these traps of relying on whales & forming codependency on their fandoms. It's annoying as a casual viewer at best and intolerable at worst.
