I guess that makes sense. I'm not gonna lie, Aqua used to be my oshi back then, but after her first solo live something changed and it didn't really feel the same to me. I ended up losing the passion I had for her, but found it again in Shion. Well she's living her dream of being an idol right now with numerous live concerts so she's most definitely happier now. However the gamer Aqua period was definitely way simpler times. The issue is that she doesn't even bother to try playing the remaining games from the last time she did this. I thing they're purposefully staying apart on stream. For a lot of eops, Shion was and still is Aqua's sidekick and that possibly bothers her. They even gave her the dumb garlic nickname to reflect that. Or maybe they just got slightly tired of the same dynamic and want to try out something different. They still get along great outside of streams and hang out so I think their lack of collabs this year is an intentional thing. I love them and their dynamic like everyone else but I can see why they might want to try out different things. Shion has tried to interact with Pekora for some time now and her antics with Nene were a huge hit. Aqua also had some great moments with Nene. Lamy is another one I can see working well with either of them. The pixel art being unfinished is a meme by this point so it's going to stay that way. The sports festival was Aqua being really focused on her cameraman role and the upcoming live might have to do with Shion's dancing skills, or lack of thereof
