If you do a little digging there are a few different accounts voicing (completely understandable and valid) discontent. It’s just out of anonymity they use throwaways. some of it is to do with overusing magowasabi’s arts. There’s a lot to this but I think some of it stems from the live merch. This is my own personal opinion, but seeing old fan art being used for the tote and the T-shirt... while we knew about the mousepad before hand, it would’ve been nice to see a different illustrator and new art

For me, the thing about overusing mago's art... I guess you can say it's a coin with two sides.
On one side, haachama's thumbnails more often than not do not depict what the stream is about, she'll throw some fan art as the thumbnail for the time being until she adds like a background or adds some stickers or something like that which gives artist freedom to draw her in any way they like, some chuubas are bound within a circle of being drawn in the same way over and over again while knowing that haachama can and will probably use any sort of art for her thumbnails.
On the other side of the coin haachama's content itself is bound within certain stuff like contests, cooking, and a couple of games so there's not much to go about for inspiration which is why you see horror art of her more than any chuuba... You can only draw her singing/cooking... Etc in a certain amount of poses/styles and mago has found a good balance for those things where cns draw her in practically any way he imagines because he's a genuine haaton unlike other artists, I mean Hyde has a decent amount of art for chammers but I've never seen her use any of his stuff.
I don't really know what point I'm trying to make here so this probably sounds like an incoherent rambling of a schizo.

At this point I see mago as the only artist doing varied Chama arts, is not like she just sticks with him, as I saw chammers usually tries to reach trending artists, for example when kanauru was gaining popularity Chammers featured his mv.

They do exist, like anon mentioned. And they help a lot. Like Mio, I've watched her since before she had that Miso soup break down. I always thought she was great and she would get more popular if there were more clips of her. After that clip when viral in EOP land, she finally got her own English clipper, Twitter translator, and live translator, and her numbers increased by a lot and increased kaigai viewers. Same thing happened to Flare, Subaru, Watame, Aki, and Sui-chan. Having dedicated fans that clip or translate opens up their content to viewers, and honestly I think some chuubas still need more love.

I'd much prefer Haachama to use art from dedicated Haatons instead of randos that are only doing it in the hopes of getting a Haachama boost. It just happens too often, in my view, that people know how interactive Haachama is with fanart so they try to jump on the bandtrain even though they otherwise don't really have anything to do with Haachama.

I am sure if there was really good art out there, Haachama would feature it, but the simple facts are that many of the artists that are discontent are not even as good as Mago. And that's not even praising Mago, I like his art style, but his work is mostly average with a few standout pieces.
