All of their youtubes are just stuffed full of VODs and way-too-long unedited clips. Junii has the right idea but I think his clips are too long.

Nelson and Bloom's are just VODs of them standing around doing literally nothing because they don't play games or have moving models and use mostly unedited thumbnails. I think Bloom has TONS of potential though because his skill is an absolute novelty and if he can get even a cheap Live2D model and a bit of editing skills he can produce some great stuff. I just think the PNG with nothing moving on screen turns people off.

The other anons hit most of my points. Without a central thematic pillar (celebration, specific financial goal), it's just going to be a set of long streams as a beg-athon, which isn't exactly enticing.
An alternative would be to riff off of Bat's schtick and make it a challenge gauntlet. Have some theme target, like "Nuzlocke run" or "beat some retro game under limited constraints", and have the donos go towards influencing the run AND subathon-type goals. Make him do an all-in-one, so there's an immediate 'reward' and a cumulative 'reward' all in one package.
Or not, this is autism, he can do as he pleases if he thinks it'll work.

I noticed that a lot with my circle of friends. There's people who outgrew me or were bigger than me when I met who can barely even manage to hit the monthly payout threshold for Twitch, but I've never missed it in a year. Fug. Even the basic 12hr oneshot is better than just 3 4hr streams with the label "dona-thon" stapled on with no frills. Sounds like he's pretty set in what he wants to do, and he's more than free to do it, and he's free to have the results it warrants.
It feels like there was an absolute flood of Birthdays, Anniversaries, Halfiversaries, Model Debuts, and general Milestone Celebrations recently. Most of which have been generally fun. Old man brain feels like it's melting trying to remember the specifics of any given one of them, but Nyaru, Ary, Bat, Arthur, and a bunch of others come to mind, and the general flow of things that has been enjoyable from things like the October birthdays and milestone celebrations kind of resembles something like this.
1) Karaoke section. The less often you normally sing, the more impact this will have. Get some feedback about your singing ability prior. I'm going to shill the concept of "Skilled Enthusiastic > SOVLful Enthusiasm > Skilled Normal >>>>> POWERGAP >>>>> Skilled Bored > SOVL bored" one more time. If you can put passion, even if you perceive it (or it actually can) shatter glass, it's fun for the viewers.
2) Community interaction. Get your viewers the opportunity to interact somehow. Be it Gartic, Jackbox, Amogus, whatever, give your viewers the opportunity to interact.
3) Challenge segment. Some kind of punishment game awaiting you if you can't do a thing in a specified time, with the expectation being you stand a reasonable shot at it. This would be a reflection of a larger challenge marathon where you can hook the donos to specific things impacting you negatively OR positively.
4) Sub goals selected for your audience. If you have a lot of banter back and forth, allow the goals to escalate for spicier "humiliations" of you, like having to commission lewd skebs or doing something you'd be lightly averse to, but don't kill your spirit with them. If you're a high-energy type, make rewards that suit that such as planning future SPEED streams or self-imposed challenges to speedrun things or try to do something that forces you to slow down. If you're a relaxed type, vice versa, attempt go fast or play to your viewers' expectations.

Woops wall o text, but mostly just look for some of the deluge of /here/ strims that happened in October or Subtember since brain bad at remembering specifics.

you don't need the extension normally, Twitch has emotes that streamers upload themselves to the site, but the amount of allowed emotes is tied to your maximum concurrent Subs (Twitch's equivalent of memberships) topping out at 60 emotes per channel.

BTTV is an extension that adds other stuff but the most commonly used feature are the emotes. There's a bit of a culture of using BTTV emotes because they're just text read by the plugin to display the emotes instead of emotes in twitch's system and it lets the chuuba have more. I noticed at first most chuuba-only viewers didnt have it at first, but gradually it caught on and I think most people use it.

I think most are 2views due to either their lack of entertainment value and wide appeal, or the fact none of them do anything but stream and link themselves here to other chuubas and just hope to magically grow .

Not exactly Sunday, but wanted to post my schedule anyway, cause I wanna hear what people generally think of video schedules like this. In one hand, it takes just a bit longer to get the information from, but in another, its very cool (to me at least).
What is the general idea behind these? Do people think their "polish" gives them enough of a purpose or do people just see them as annoying?

I.e. I see 1 viewer on stream but if I open users in chat is see like 6-8.
