The overall vibe I got is that Bora wasn't happy with the state of NijiKR right now and probably wanted some time off due to school/health stress (her earlier hiatus was due to health issues likely caused by stress). She likely got denied because NijiKR is still struggling and she is their best performer, so she chose to leave instead of continue for her own sake. I got the sense that much like Towa, Bora has a maimaipeisu sort of attitude as well. If she does come back it will likely be at a place that is more willing to accommodate her as a result.
