is anyone else kinda burnt out on hololive and vtubers? I don’t hate them, I just feel bored as fuck out of nowhere like I woke up and just didn’t feel it anymore. I guess it’s like a crush fading away, the spark isn’t there. I still appreciate vtubers and how they make people happy. I really thought this was the hobby that would keep me moving forward without committing an hero.

I feel burnt out on rrats does that count for anything

>> No.1304405

Just you. I do lose interest in some vtubers over time but I just check out others instead when that happens. Maybe go back to old vtubers I dropped to see if they changed or do a game I'm interested in.

No

More burnt out on dealing with the fan community than on VTubers themselves.

I feel the same. It doesn't help that a lot of them are recycling content from each other.

Yes. Most of my friends have moved on as well. Once the novelty wore off it just felt like I'm watching a twitch thot. But one who caters to the lowest common denominator.
There are a couple I tune in for every now and then but it's not the same anymore

I've started branching out towards Nijis and some Indies, so there's that.

Not really, is more like I've finally settled down on some preferred chuubas for the content they have, such as Korone, Subaru and Okayu because I enjoy the variety of games they play and the content they provide, while even if I follow Roboco and Matsuri because I find them charming, I don't watch them as often due to timezones and because they'll be often playing Apex, which I have no interest at all.

Outside of that, I keep discovering new things about vtubers I don't watch as often, such as some Holos I don't watch as often like Choco and Aki, the Nijis, Tomoshika or indies. There's so much variety to get burnt out, but I believe the main problem right now is that because of Youtube's stupid policies for the sake of ad revenue, the content they can provide can become stale.

>>1304433
Better to just stick to the threads of the chuubas you're watching, it gets tiring browsing through so many anti-Kiara and stupid narrative threads. Even regular Kiara threads are being infected by anti filth, is becoming annoying.

EN newfags dropping out makes sense. Some of them might come back for Gen 2 or whatever it will eb called, but bandwagoners will never stick to something for too long.

Not at all, I've been interested in VR since forever, but I was looking into the current technology since... 2012? I believe this is just the beginning of something that will last for decades or centuries to come.
It should eventually bore some, it will saturate, decline, have a Renaissance.
This is a great time to be alive. At least online.

Why are you talking like this is any sort of issue? Just watch them when you feel like it, don't when you don't. It's not a fucking commitment.

Not vtubers, but hlg & hlgg. Indulge in the threads only sporadically, spend that time watching clips or even more streams instead.

The whole Haachama situation has made me really sad. I don't know if I should just try taking a break until she comes back since letting the drama live rent free in my head just keeps making me miserable
