It's not that she's a Stacey, it's that she *wants* to be a Stacey. She tries so, so hard and it ends up coming off as inauthentic. Her design and lore are a mess because she just wants to be popular, and she's willing to try whatever might get at that.

Compare her to Ina. Ina isn't popular she seems quiet, but she seems OK with that. She doesn't yell and play up relationships to get fans. Ina's relaxing to watch because I've known and worked with people like Ina - they just want to chill.

Kiara's character would have been 100x better if they:

>emphasize "just wanting to have friends" as an explicit part of her character
