It's originally from 5ch in mid 2020
Ayame said she couldn't stream because she wasn't well.
Her roommate's twitter was private, but they could see what her friends were tweeting at her.
The day she didn't stream they saw her having a twitter conversation with some of her friends, and interpreted it as them hanging out - because that's what people do when they hang out - they tweet at each other.

Anyway, 5ch found out she had male friends (at least one of whom acted like he was flirting with her). Narratives evolved into her having a boyfriend, to her having multiple boyfriends, to her being a rental girlfriend.
JP got their hands on the narratives and the Ayameschizo started the spam.
Shortly before vt was created it was mostly debunked by pic related.
But then Ayameschizo left jp and came to vt where he got a lot of followers instead.
