I had multiple suicide attempts that didn't end up in harming myself in any way because I'm a useless fuck. Had a mental breakdown and called a close family member telling them that I couldn't handle it anymore and that I needed help. I happened to get lucky and ended up with a therapist that was helpful and a psychiatrist that was a fucking asshole but the meds he gave me helped.
A large part of it was trying to change my outlook on things and attempting to get a more healthy lifestyle.
