For streamers or viewers? Very different answers.

For at least some female Western vtubers it is definitely a better match in terms of requirements, restrictions, support, and boosting than Holo or Niji, though I'm not sure about other Western vtuber agencies. Using Twitch as the streaming platform is probably the most important material difference. As long as Twitch continues to be a streaming platform viewers willingly use, Twitch's moderation and monetization policies are the deciding factor relative to Youtube.

The current streamers however are less cohesive, stand-out, and OC-oriented than HoloEN or even NijiEN. And not just in art/music/etc., but even just original or defining streaming concepts. What makes Projekt Melody or Nyanners noteworthy has little to do with joining vshojo or being promoted by them, and leaving vshojo wouldn't change their brand nearly as much as someone leaving holo would. Like, imagine if Snuffy was brought on to vshojo: it would change nearly nothing about her persona. Then think of her joining holo or niji yeah i know it's just hypothetical.

Very much so. Vshojo wouldn't justify its existence if the streamers weren't inclined to be vtubers in the first place over traditional streams, which they all did as independents.
Depends on the streamer though. Projekt Melody without her avatar is no longer Projekt Melody, but someone like Nyanners or Veibae is probably less dependent on that particular persona.

Based on controversies that were dramatic enough to get members canned, especially in cases where it wasn't entirely their fault, this is true relative to Niji (particularly in Japan) and Holo.
Now mind you, a lot of the reason that both holo and niji are more subject to drama is because of their stricter format and standards for their streamers, while joining vshojo doesn't change much about the streamer or restrict them more than twitch already does.
