I hate the way twitch is laid out and can't stand its community. The streamers on twitch clearly cater to the community by the fact of being on twitch so in a lot of ways I hate them too. It's the 'twitchness' itself I can't stand. It stinks. Add the idea of watching a lukewarm streamer and it's a complete deal breaker. Youtube does have rules but it honestly is too busy making deals with Vevo and hollywood to give much of a shit about smaller youtubers which is a double edged sword. On twitch it's their main revenue so they're always around fucking with shit and shilling nonsense to you.

I think many of them are pretty good. Pink cat especially is imo the funniest EN vtuber and a natural comedian when she actually makes content. But I don't like when they do lazy content such as reacting to videos, which I feel both her and vei relies on too much. I also hate Pink cat's chat and community. I actually watched Nyanners and Mousey's minecraft arc and it was pretty entertaining. Most clips aren't exactly representative of the streamer and everyone here is a clipfag. Then again, Nyanners is party to blame because some of those are her official clips. The only Vshojo that is accurately depicted in the clips being floated around here is Vei, and that girl is pretty boring and relies on toilet humor more than the rest of them.

A lot of people around here who hopped on the vtuber train are /pol/tards who found their trad waifu ideals in hololive and jp vtubers who unironically do the seiso act, often imposed by the companies that employ them and the idol culture that served as a footprint for jp vtubing. It's worth to mention that a lot of indie jp vtubers aren't like that at all. It's mainly in the companies. But there are also platform issues that cause it - youtube restricts your range dramatically if your content isn't child friendly, and we're talking about very young children. And most jp people aren't familiar with twitch - they use youtube for watching streams, forcing jp streamers to choose their platform and obey their rules.
Western vtubers don't have those limitations and formed their culture differently. Not many trad waifus here. I doubt even that nun vtuber, Sister Abigail, would be considered one by /pol/tards. There isn't really that much animosity towards Vshojo other than this place, but the hate they get in here is for two reasons. First, because they're the main representative of western vtubing, which is why there is so much focus on them. Second, because almost all of their talents are examples of vtubers that wouldn't make a cut for Hololive for different reasons. Mel because CB and her past, Zen because tts and possibly nonbinary, Hime because irl persona, boyfriend and schedule issues, Ironmouse because too much heavy real stuff comes with her which is a liability for a company, Vei because she enjoys being no joke promiscuous and doesn't fuck around with being nice to her chat (also, imagine being her manager), Nyanners because irl persona and a loud negative fanbase (like, didn't Coco left for similar reason?)
