I am liking Millie a lot because I have personally never seen a VTuber who is such a non-gamer that most of her streams aren't even games and when she does game she plays flash games on Coolmathgames. So a VTuber whose content is mostly not video game streams is new and fresh to me. Anyone have any suggestions for their favorite VTubers that are like that? Doesn't matter what language they are.

Inuyama Tamaki is obviously the king (queen?) of non-gaming Vtubers with his(her?) interviews being IMO the best content available. The other Norio-pro streamers also game relatively less than holo/niji.

Off the top of my head, Tsukino Mito and Noraneko doesn't game much.

You could also just have a vtuber listing site like https://live-ranking.userlocal.jp/vtuber-ranking and pick live streams that doesn't mention a game.

For me I like zatsudan because there are a lot of games I want to play myself and if I watch the stream for those games then it spoils them. Which is a double whammy if I can't watch the stream of a girl I love. So that's why zatsudan is great, there's no worry about that happening. Just comfy chatting. Karaoke is indeed good too, very pleasant to listen to, but sometimes a little repetitive and naturally they don't really talk much between songs. So it's not quite as good as zatsudan because you don't get to learn more about them and hear their opinion on things, but it's still good if you're in the mood for it.

I agree on this, if there's a game there might be something interesting on screen so you can't listen to it without missing part of it. With a zatsudan you know there's nothing to see on the screen.

Live2D models are cool technology but in the end they're still pretty limited. The important benefit is that they give your brain the image of a person to imagine in your mind while you're looking away from the stream. I guess it shows you the true VTuber enjoyer is even fine with PNGtubers.

I haven't really branched out much with corpos due to only so much time in a day, but a decent amount of the girls in Kawaii do plenty of zatsudan. Isla and Nene do around a similar amount of it and some games. Reina is essentially almost all chatting with very few video game streams here and there. Urara is pretty much all chatting, and it is radically different subjects from rest of vtubers since she is a manager as well. Easy to keep up with her since at best she streams once a month. I can't tell you much about the other corpos because not only have I not watched everyone much in Tsunderia (Miori, Urara, and Meruru), I haven't gotten around to Phase or Prisim even though they have big names in the community like Shiki. Then you already have Petra in NijiEN and to an extent Pomu, but if you're already into Millie then Pomu is a no brainer.

It's time for you to explore your options now.

There are people that love a face hence why there are so many face cam streamers, and others that just want the voice. I'm in the latter half thus a minority, but it doesn't mean I won't watch face cam. I'm sure this one chick I follow on Twitch could get a significantly larger viewership (pushing her from 1~4 views to possibly double digits)if she set up a face cam, but no one mentioned it thankfully.

People ask VTubers to do things a lot, and sometimes they offer them unprompted advice, but you know what they never say? They never tell the VTuber "If there's anything I can do for you, let me know." They never put the ball in their court and let them choose. When that's what they really want to hear all along.
