Streamhatchet numbers for Pekora are a hatchet job. Numbers pulled from Holostats indicate they've "removed" a large chunk of Pekora's hours for some reason. They even got Kuzuha's numbers wrong, but not to the extent that Pekora has had her numbers botched. For some reason, Miko's numbers do match closely to the number you can pull from the data on Holostats.

Pekora has a lot more overall watchtime than Gura, but Gura has more subs. I think its just a reflection of their content : Gura plays games in a more sporadic manner, with many minecraft streams, one-off game streams and collabs. Of course she also does entire game playtroughs, but not as many as Pekora. Peko is well known for her playtroughs of games, from MGS to Resident Evil or Dragon Quest. Shes great at turning it into a weekly series, keeping viewer retention extremely high as you tune in every week for another episode of bunny girl adventures in x game. Even her minecraft streams, which she also streams a lot, usually have some sort of storyline she establishes, which again, is great for keeping viewer retention. Both are equally valid, and i think both of them play to their individual strenghs in their own way.

Simple states like California and New York has tens of MILLIONS of people. That isn't including all the other states from those coasts or time zones that is just the USA, not including Canada nor anywhere south of the USA which are often multi lingual. There are significantly more English speakers than Japanese speakers thus a larger pool of potential viewers compared to pulling from Japanese viewership.
