I started watching Hololive in the middle of last year when they began really taking off, just a bit before Myth got introduced. Nene last year was kind of generic and just less interesting compared to others in Gen 5 like Botan and Polka.

However, after she did her costume change, she seems to have also decided to reinvent herself somewhat. I started seeing a lot more entertaining clips from her than I had previously and I'd argue her content quality just drastically improved after the costume change as well.

Now I regard her as one of the stronger Holos.overall. It's why I have some hope that Sana in Council will be able to turn things around, though taking successive weeks off probably wasn't the best way to begin going about that.
