They're more open to doing whatever they want and they don't take it too seriously. I personally see it as a double edged sword compared to Hololive because less structure also results in inconsistent content quality. Nijisanji has higher highs and lower lows. Hololive is more middle of the road.

Because they are feel like a bunch of (sometimes very different) adults just........hanging out. That and the fact ANYCOLOR seems willing to give godlike infrastructure and backing for the wackiest projects of their members. It's inspiring in a way.

Yup. Most of Nijisanji livers are pretty bland. They do have a couple of core groups that are willing to try some wild and dumb shit. I am happy that the company lets them do that. Having these also brings in more talent with similar approach- for example how Suo Sango joined becaused she idolized noraneko

Nijisanji's model works. You can't have everyone be star performers. You need the supporting actors to give the stars more friends to play with. It is for this reason that their first ARK and Minecraft stream ends up being so successful and they are able to churn out good collabs all the time.
And even for those 2view supporting actors, they all have their moments that gets noticed if they collab with the stars.
