You COULD make an argument that, besides this imaginary complaint, there are enough other stupid things Cover did to Coco, so you don't even have to reach for made-up shit.
(But of course, the foxtranny either doesn't know or doesn't care about this actual history, and only made up this point for a self-serving argument: "help me be able to have full russian streams, unlike Coco who wasn't allowed by her company to have full english streams").
- Cover nerfed the hell out of some of the edgier aspects of early Coco. Asacoco 1.0 was a blast, and by the end it was reduced to a sad state. But to be fair, it's up in the air how much of that was really on Cover itself being a stick in the mud, and how much of it was just preemptive protectiveness from volatile Youtube policies.
- Cover's treatment of Coco during/after the chinkpocalypse. They didn't graduate her, but they did much else wrong. First the "suspension", then basically leaving her alone to deal with the antis (for example, spammers getting modded, and members getting banned, etc.), and also apparently cloistering her off from HoloEN interaction right up until the very end of her tenure.

Those would be ACTUAL arguments with merit in how Cover didn't treat Coco as well as they could/should - but again, of course Nina either doesn't know about those or doesn't care, and only brought her up in a self-serving attempt to lobby for her foreign-language streams by making up some harebrained comparison to something else that didn't even happen.

I watched the clip. The translation is really accurate. Yeah, it's definitely unprofessional. However, before getting ass-blasted about some words think about her Russian not being perfect at all. I don't even know if she's a native, or maybe she is but lived in Canada for too long. Nina forgets some simple words and expressions pretty often and says something like "how do I say it in Russian". You get too hung up on words that could be just a bad pick on her side. And I don't think it will affect her Russian-speaking viewers at all. I don't think Russian fanbase tends to get hung up on a single word so much, so the fact that Nina said "Coco couldn't do full English streams" despite it likely being bullshit will probably be dismissed and forgotten completely. People understand why it's not a good idea to talk about reincarnation of a corpo vtuber, there were people in chat who were saying things like "you better not do it, it's a dangerous topic, don't give out her name (meaning kson)". Some were saying everything's ok though, partly because it was in Russian. I think people are pretty loose about roommate shit in Russian vtuber community. Some can't even comprehend why is it kind of a forbidden topic, some understand it but still don't care as much.
