options suggestion. i dont know shit about trading in general so correct me if im looking at options wrong.
1. options buy and sell should be instant
2. players ability to buy contracts starts from adjustment until the 19th hour. after that, options are locked for the players.
3. all contracts automatically sell before adjustment. 9:00 - 9:05, market is closed. contracts are processed.
4. if the player want to sell at a certain date. same principle above, just block it from selling of course. i prefer daily contracts, much more simpler imo

How to use the API to collect price and coin data as a noob non-programmer.
1) Install python
2) https://nasfaq.biz/api/getMarketInfo?all&history
3) Save the data as getMarketInfo{string}.json (insert {string} in whatever format you wish, I used date and time to keep the files separate. For example, getMarketInfo211017_2254.json
Make sure this .json file is in the same folder as nasfaq.py and python
4) Save nasfaq.py from this pastebin in the same folder as python https://pastebin.com/heF582v7
5) Open nasfaq.py in a text editor
6) Change the epoch variable in nasfaq.py to the timestamp you're interested in. In this example, I chose 9am server time on october 17. The timestamp is 1634475600. You can use unixtimestamp.com to convert to unix timestamps. It should not have quotes.
7) Change the fdatetime variable in nasfaq.py to the {string} you used to name the file. In this example I used '211017_2254'. Note the quotes, keep them. You can use 'single quotes' or "double quotes."

8) Change fdata to get the data you want. Here is the legend:
'inCirculation' : gets how many coins were in circulation at the time. This can be useful to see which coins were bought the most over a certain period of time.
'price' : gets the price of the coin at the time. Maybe you want to use this to help you calculate ROI on dividends, or to keep track of which coins gave the best returns over time.

9) NOT NECESSARY - Change ftype to 'daily', 'dividends' or anything you want. It has to be inside quotes. It helps you organize the .txt file that this program generates.
10) Open cmd on windows or a similar console, then type
cd {path to python folder} for example,
cd C:\Users\Anonymous\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38-32
If you don't know where the python folder is, and you're on windows, you can type
where.exe python
and it will show you where it is. Sometimes the drive letter is different, for example C: and D: in which case you need to type D: to get to D: before you type cd. For example if python is in D:\Python.
and then type this to run the script
python nasfaq.py
11) The program will output the data you selected from the timestamp you're interested in. It will also save a .txt file inside the same folder. It outputs the timestamp at the top, and two columns of data including coin name and price, or coin name and number of coins in circulation, depending on what you selected.

After a little bit of pruning, I've compiled your suggestions into a Cards Against Humanity deck, compatible with the "Many Decks" version of the game (as Cardcast for Pretend You're Xyzzy bit the dust). I have kept some references to the users but decided to prune answers that were just usernames; something like "Cypher's Thinkpad" is okay, "Cypherposter" is not.
I'm sure some of the prompts are more viable/funnier than others, and there might still be things missing from the deck, but we should give it a go and see what sticks.

Regarding the state of the game, it's fairly uneventful outside of community stuff (aggie, Saving Private Koronesuki, etc.) as the market hit its bottom and equilibrated. I second adding higher volatility to the market and divvies to make plays riskier/more dynamic, and for the average weekly performance to matter a lot more when evaluating a coin's worth. You might also consider cutting the 5% taxes on coins (but not multicoin taxes), it punishes shifting of capital, which is the primary method of interacting with the game and is the primary method of climbing early on.
I am glad that the auctions are almost completed, as it will be the first time that players are able to interact with one another, so it will be interesting to see. I expect a lot of shenanigans, which is fun.

As has been brought up before, the effect of having perfect information about how adjustments will move an entire 11-12 hours before they actually happen and being able to do something about it is, I think, part of the reason why the game appears predictable to some. If the current numbers for a holo's next adjustment are lower than the day before, obviously no one playing for adjustments will buy if the price is above yesterday's, for example. Similarly if the numbers are higher than yesterday's and the price is still significantly lower, of course everyone will buy at least a few shares - while being able to stop instantly if the market moves too much. There is little decision-making involved in this phase. This also means that some people who don't want to take risks, but also can't be bothered to really pay attention to holos, will simply wait for the stats to be out before making the obvious plays without watching any streams, and then complain that it's too predictable - because for them, the potential gain of buying/selling nonstop for hours after adjustment is so small as to not be worth it compared to simply waiting for stats.
Obviously many people are opposed to changing adjustment times. So what I would propose is at least making some sort of key, obvious difference to making plays in the period before and after stats are known. Something as harsh as players not being able to change their set transactions for X hours after the nineteenth hour, or as soft as charging much less tax before the nineteenth hour and a higher rate afterwards. The goal is ultimately to make players feel that they potentially gain much more if they 'gamble' in the period between adjustment and the nineteenth hour. Of course there will be obvious streams to buy even then like 3D lives and birthdays, but for more difficult-to-compare things like a Pekora Smash Bros stream versus a Minecraft stream, having more knowledge of the streamer, average duration, viewers etc can be the difference between overbuying or getting good profit, which adds up over time especially across all coins.
Taken to the extreme, what this amounts to is essentially the idea of being able to bet that upcoming streams will have X viewers before they even start, eating the loss if they get cancelled, cut short, have viewers stolen by more desirable streamers or collabs, etc - and be able to profit off your correct predictions to a significantly large extent that you are not on average better off playing it safe by waiting for the stats to come out.
I am aware that this has weaknesses - it doesn't address a significant number of EN streams which take place right after or around the nineteenth hour and thus have their stats clearly locked in for the adjustment after next. But the JP, ID, and other streams in the JP night timezone form the large majority of major shifts and forcing people to lock in their bets for these based on imperfect information, rewarding early decisions more and late decisions less, may go a ways towards lessening the predictability factor of the game.

Because let's face it, after you get to $10M networth the game fucking dies, the most engaging Nasfaq ever was when you were day-trading from adjustment to adjustment as a poorfag trying to squeeze any dime you can and enganing in beautiful pump and dumps (actually those don't even happen anymore, it's just up), after that it becomes a slogfest waiting from dividend payout to dividend payout, where you only stock up on the most meta coins and the ones that have an event in the near future, if you decide to climb ranks you are stuck with that, if you decide to oshicoin you might find some engagement in oshiwars, and that's it.
So why did people stay here? Two possible options, you either have a goal (I'm going to be n°1 in the ledearbord, I'm going to get 1000 of every coin, I'm going to be n°1 in my oshiboard, I will reach $500M, a mikofag landing on the 35th spot in the leaderboard and whatever else) and the other one being the community.
Whether you like it or not, whether you participated in it or not, these shit was amazing, people made very cool OC, new soundposts where made, at some point in the distant past people larped as companies, people even talked about streams from time to time, it was really beautiful in my eyes, truly the peak of /vt/ experience, when something happened everyone jumped quickly to talk about it or joke about it, when bogration kicked in, the first time the gacha was here, when people were wondering why the fuck was Mio getting pumped and dumped, it was glorious. I think that had to do with the way jokes/achievements were treated, in recent memory for example, Joe hitting 10k had pretty much an entire thread cheering on him and making Sui things, also shitting on Dancer, but it was that one thread, same with Priestess ribbon, same with sombrero CD and many more in the past.
But for some reason, now you fags act like that one annoying kid in class that once told a joke and everyone laughed so he tried to repeat every day to see if he could make anyone laugh again, learn to let thing go for fucks sake.
I don't care if it's really the guy doing it, if it's falseflagging, a schizo, or if it even is Honk himself trying to send a message of help trough a complicated ARG where you have to take the first letter of every second word and run it through Cesar Cypher, (You) are very fucking annoying.
So when I look back, and I see the bros that died a long the way, Shikemura, Takeshi, Matowa, Natsuiro Holdings and with how things are going KoroneSuki, Smiles, Applause in the near future too. It really saddens me.
