Just finished the Minecraft VOD. Pekora was extremely cute this stream, even moreso than usual. I normally enjoy her Minecraft streams regardless of what she does, but this one was a lot more enjoyable and fun than her Minecraft streams usually are. Her simply running around doing stuff on her own was kino. Pekora vs Subaru was kino. Her talking to and hanging out with Sana and Hakos was kino. Just tons of kino all around. I was surprised that she spontaneously wanted to be in a voice call with Sana too and just asked her out of the blue. I wasn't expecting that. I haven't really watched EN2 at all outside of their debuts because I just don't have time, so it was nice. It was just great from start to finish.

Also, I was impressed by Peko's English. She's improved, if only a little. Chanrenge.

Yeah I've been learning kanji as well, frankly if you want to read and write to any decent degree you'll have to learn kanji. When you say it is eating into your vocabulary time do you mean that you are learning kanji individually rather than from words?
The kanji grind is slow and pretty much endless but it is something that gets easier and easier the more you learn because eventually you'll learn the kanji's individual meaning from all the words you've learned and that helps in understanding words you've never seen before.
In the case that you are feeling like you can't keep up, or that the reviews are stressing you out then setting new cards to 0 for some time to reduce the amount of daily reviews is a good option, I've done it a lot. As long as you do reviews then taking a break from New cards is fine.

My usual pace is 20 words a day and I try to maintain that unless I need a break. Recently when I have new cards in my mining deck I do 40 per day but I must warn you to not stress yourself out because if you burn out and lose motivation then it can be pretty nasty. So if you want to up the pace then at least don't be afraid to take a break.
