Actually, this made me surprised at how smart Niji is with designs and I’m a holo fan. It’s like they don’t care about being politically correct or whatnot and look to only what may help them generate numbers of have good appeal. How a model looks correlates to the amount of fanart they get. If a model is average then they won't get any fan art, but if they literally emanate SEX or are pure/innocent looking then they will get the most fanart. Marine/Pekora/Aqua/Gura get the most fanart out of everyone for a reason.

This is a good question and I actually wonder what the fuck their design thought process is.
They're all over designed and bloated and yeah they lack any real sex appeal. Their bodies are overall childlike, most of HoloEN has very petite bodies, and their outfits are all bulky with a lot of cloth covering up everything.
The most sexual they got so far are Finana and Elira and those are barely sexy. Finana looks like a child and Elira's appeal is hidden boobs under a lot of cloth and that's a very niche appeal.
Compared to the designs of their members in other branches it's just confusing why NijiEN doesn't throw a couple of slutty girls here and there.
