I think Hololive fucked up with the timing and debuting Irys before everyone else. When EOPs figured that Irys was shit, hype for the new EN gen died. Relying on muh lore and way too complicated designs with tame personalities just didn't create big enough wave.

They are at a good place in terms of members and superchats but it is clear that hololive buff isn't as strong anymore. EN market is oversaturated to hell.
