Coco handed it to her for a reason. I don't know if she had expectations for Haachama or if it was merely a gesture to keep Haachama invested in Vtubing. At the moment Haachama seems unable to commit to and deliver any single type of content, whether it be cooking, singing, contests, etc. The Reddit Review is viewed with mixed opinions here, but it definitely encouraged participation on that platform. In my opinion, Haachama should at least encourage someone else to run the show whenever she is unable to do so herself. Of course, there is the risk that viewers might prefer the other host but the alternative is no show.
