The thing is that this kind of discussion is always going to be somewhat hampered by the fact that we're anonymous. No one's got full control over a conversation, and people can springboard off of other people to make points that weren't originally intended easily. You saw it yourself last thread, I assume, someone springboarding off of you even.
But obviously, that happens for unity stuff, too. Some people springboard off of it to pretend it's about being an active Hololive DD, but it definitely isn't, that's not something that should reasonably be expected, I don't think. Everyone has preferences; that's a fact of life.
When people here make their points, they don't typically put a lot of thought or effort into how they make them. Words are chosen haphazardly, implications are barely considered before posting, and because of that, misinterpretations flourish easily. That's how you see so many tribalfags take a molehill and wedge it into a mountain, through those gaps in interpretation. So when people say
>don't talk shit about the girls
they say it because they expect this thread, much like the entire site, to react to badly-worded negativity like that one Boondocks scene where a chair gets thrown and everyone starts fighting.
You can speak your mind, for the most part, here. Even negativity, if you're articulate enough to express it well. But that's the advice I'd give: It requires being very articulate to express that sentiment without also leaving room for a fight to be instigated, and most people who want to express that sentiment don't consider that when they do.
