Kiara streams way more than Ame does. Has done so for months. KFP are the most spoiled since the beginning of this year. Gura and Ina don’t stream a lot, but they also aren’t constantly taking “potato weeks” and always release schedules. She doesn't want to make a schedule and see that there are only 5 streams, so she prefers to schedule them on YouTube. For me it's perfectly understandable. Also, I'd prefer that to being disappointed by seeing a pathetically small schedule (like mumei's first schedule). I think it's preferable to be surprised day by day in those weeks.
Plus I really believe her that she's working on projects, even today she mentioned something about recording stuff. She consistently gives us incredibly creative and innovative streams every 2-3 weeks, but ends up canceling other stuff or destroying her sleep schedule. With this she will be able to give us more of these streams, better prepared, and without destroying herself in the process.
Not to mention that a light week from Ame is a normal week from other vtubers. Probably 5 streams.
I honestly think it's a good idea. Let's see how it turns out.

1. It depends on how far in advance she puts up a stream reservation. We're not talking about guerillas here, but the whole week.
2. Because she has set a precedent of putting up a frame only a couple of hours in advance, this makes it uncertain as to whether or not the current day will be a stream day. She sometimes notifies well in advance when it is, but she rarely notifies well in advance when it isn't.

At some point, you’ve got to learn that this is the trade off. Sure, she might not engage with other members as much as we’d like, but she makes up for it by pulling off special event streams that are just for us. Putting on a unique show for us is what makes her the most happy and that’s a fucking blessing.
Does it make logical sense that we can’t have both? No, but humans are weird, flawed and nonsensical. This is just the way that Ame is and frankly, I think we’re getting a pretty sweet deal overall.
