A lot of vtubers are in fact the same as e-girls and some of them are actual e-girls on the side, not denying that. But I still think it's rarer to make it big as a vtuber than as a female streamer. It 'feels' different because the model does not 'belong' to them in the same way that an e-girl's real body does. It's a focus, and it's nice if it looks nice and might even make people coom, but it's ultimately besides the point. Hierarchies always emerge in groups.
