I once had a dream when I was working in an airport and HoloEN all came through, they all had their visa in order except Ame who kept insisting she was British and didn't need a visa to enter the country.

She gave me an American passport so I detained her.

Later me and the other members of HoloEN ate chicken in the foodcourt except Ina because she's so fucking boring my subconscious forgot about her lmao.

It was late at night, I was at the bus stop in a very ghetto neighborhood scared that I was gonna get killed or robbed, then suddenly Pikamee appears and grabs my bulge from behind asking me if I want to have a good time, I tell her to please leave me alone but she keeps going.

I got a couple. First one more recent so I can actually remember it.

Idk why it timeskipped me here but it did and suddenly I was talking to a dude and I was like yeah they found out it was me somehow and shot me in the face. Then the guy ripped off his face and it was Pekora.

I've only ever had one vtuber dream, it was when I fell asleep watching Suisei:
I went to a meet and greet vtuber event where Suisei was the main talent. I assumed it was going to be a video call like the valentines day events, but when I got to the booth Suisei was an actual person, a human who looked just like her avatar. We talked briefly, until my time was up and I had to leave. I went to the merch stand, then started to walk home until someone (I couldn't see who) called my name. I turned around, only for them to drug me with chloroform, at which point I passed out.
I came to in a blank room, unable to move. At some point later, Suisei came into the room and explained I was at her house, and she had broken my legs so I couldn't escape. Apparently being unable to date (as an idol) left her sexually frustrated, so to cope with her urges she would kidnap people to use as sex toys until she got bored. She ran her fingers through my hair, said there was something she wanted to show me, then left the room, and that's when I woke up.
I wish the dream lasted longer, because it was kinda hot.

I had a dream where I got to hug Subaru and she reciprocated it without it being weird. For some reason it filled me with a great amount of joy. A week after that I had a dream about Koopa Fortuna hanging on my couch and bitching about Comcast. I sat across from her and she mentioned something about me having an "appointment" which vaguely signified that she was also acting as a therapist for some reason. She paid me a compliment, which didn't feel insincere, but I immediately looked at her and told her not to lie to me.
I fell asleep in my chair and she turned into a buff ass Chris Redfield-in-Shimakazi monstrosity that still had Koopa's voice. She was on the phone complaining about how the bank heist is going to shit at this rate.

If you have a normal sleep cycle then you are dreaming, you're just not remembering it.
Try this: wake up a bit earlier than usual and get out of bed for just a minute or so, go take a piss or something. Then go back to sleep for another hour or two. I find it much easier to remember dreams I have in this extra bit of sleep.

My theory as to why this happens (at least with the meditation) is that for younger generations such as millenials or zoomers, whose brains are totally fed up with information every minute of every day, it is harder to go through the process of organizing information from past days, while after meditating you can clear your head to a point and so the resources for a dream can be better "accessed" while in REM.
