How come Kizuna Ai decided to just clone herself a few times instead of diversifying her characters with new talents like Hololive did? Is there any chance she's going to try and reverse that and do a course correction or is this just her business model that she's sticking with?
It's weird to me that Kizuna was top tier for a very long time and now Hololive and other agencies now have nearly taken up the entire market abroad. But then again, maybe that's because she doesn't have any English branches or ways to reach out except through clippers and translations that take forever.
What is the future for her and do you think she's going to be able to continue seeing as the videos she pops out are seeing less and less engagement compared to groups such as Hololive?

Hear me out. During the clone wars when Kizuna was steadily dipping on popularity. The chinese were steadily growing more fond of Fubuki and Aqua. (See Azurlane collab). Somehow, Fubuki's Scatman got picked up by YT algorithm and broke open clips of the other vtubers (ABC with vtubers got recommended to normies). This showed the world the existence of other vtubers and Kizuna fell from relevancy.

Why did they use the same avatar and not different? It's cheaper to use the same, people started to make rrat's about they were replacing her and lost alot of viewer.

They ended up changing the avatar but the damage was done.
Also I would say YouTube removing the community subtitles couldn't have helped

The answer is the same. Upd8 literally destroyed an entire generation of Vtubers. You holobronies should be glad, it's only because one of them shouted out Sora while having technical issues that Hololive is even as big as it is now. If Upd8 hadn't screwed up, it'd be an outfit about as big as something like Tsundere or Phase Connect is right now.

if I had to point to something it would be that Upd8 fucked her over. having multiple Kizuna Ai's isn't a bad idea unless you made them look distinct from the get go, Ai-pi and Love-Chan should have been a thing from day one but wasn't, so because of that and poor communication it really ruined her this and the ahegao incident, where the loser would have a penalty game of making an ahegao if they lost is the one two punch that tanked her. sad really because she was really on top and now really isn't what she used to be I really feel like she won't recover especially seeing as she has almost 3 mil in subs but no one watches her like they used to.
