Youtube is 100x better since adblock always works there and streams can be rewound to the beginning. It's already took one of twitch's two good features (that being clipping) and only needs to get around to someone's member emotes being universal to chats.

This. Twitch is far better for indies with under 1k average live viewers, as the numbers are actually accurate, it's far easier to self-promote and indies can help each other out. YouTube is better for corpo chuubas, especially when they have huge numbers like Hololive. However, the management for both is absoloute dogshit. I'd argue Susan is worse, but Twitch makes up for that with it's awful "culture" of gamified viewership, emote and TTS spam and memes.

It's "better" because 1view streamers believe that if they suck the dick of a bigger streamer hard enough they'll get raided and maybe someone will feel pity for their sorry ass and stick for more than 2 minutes and they'll finally upgrade and become a 2view - not realizing the people there couldn't care less about them.

They also believe that that they have better "discoverability", being buried at 0 views at the bottom of the popular games where no one will bother to scroll down, or having 0 views while being so down the catalog in unpopular games that no one will look for them - not realizing that the viewerbase holds them lower than a random thot farting into a mic..

And they surely hope that the absolutely completely gamefied gacha-trash-tier interface will make viewers stick around them instead of the bigger streamers who are already established and can offer some benefit from it. Or if they only grind their asses streaming 8 hours a day for a couple years to make to affilliate they'll be able the afford a dollar menu meal a month from the share of their 2view giving them their free prime subscriptions.

They're still 2views though, but trust them! Twich is totally great and it's only a matter of time they strike big despite every evidence of the contrary!
