Haachama returned from a week long break and had a tête-à-tête with Haaton about the last three years, her frustrations, how she’s in a better place now that she is back to Japan and how that affects her motivation to stream now that it no longer is needed as her social clutches (among other things).

That’s because the licensing model in the west is beyond broken. There is a reason, for instance, House MD opening (and most incidental songs) is different from the live broadcast to the one in the DVDs.
They had to license completely different songs because the copyright holders saw the chance to milk the show for more money when they saw the success it had on TV.

Given that compulsory licensing with a fixed rate only apply to cover songs with no video (like CDs or spotify-like streaming) labels can and do offer unreasonable terms for anything involving the web.

Legality-wise, it's all grey area the way things currently stand. The only reason that rights holders do not do anything about song covers is the same as with video games and streamers: too expensive to litigate and they gain more of their property being spread than they would from preventing people from performing your songs.

It is, but until they get their official 3d models, they won't even be able to use at least that much. Long-term they'll probably have to use VR set 3d for the EN when they aren't in Japan just because of distance issues and setting up a 3d studio in NA makes no sense due to the fact that everyone is spread out across Canada/US.
