Generally 1 or lower depending how strong it is. You rarely have to go higher. Clip should be the same number as well. There are fringe cases where you would have them be different but for the most part should be the same.

That depends on the lora, the other loras you're running with it and the model you're running it on. 1 is default strength, lower is weaker and and higher is stronger.
Also if you're the absolute beginner anon from last thread I would recommend using webui-reforge over comfyui it's a lot easier for beginners.

ComfyUI anon was a turbo-faggot, but more than that, it's just a bunch of autism spaghetti that gets in the way of focusing on just generating images. He had a speed increase over A1111, but they've optimized the speed so much now and Forge/reforge are both great packages themselves.
As a Forge-er, I don't see myself ever wanting to waste time with Comfy when WebUI is just 100% cleaner.
Inpainting just makes it THAT much easier to decide not to use it for simple generating purposes.
By contrast though, Invoke is too simplified and the prompt engineering methodology is weird after spending two years generating with A1111. Some of the simple functionalities are locked behind making a spaghetti in there too, which was a major turnoff.
Forge/Reforge/A1111 is just better for 95% of users.

NTA but I agreed, the inpainting is complicated but possible after all i could do the geodussy of biboo and the ronin hats of ina, I did the transition from A1111 to comfy just a month ago, and there are still things that I miss from the webUI, i wouldn't recommend to someone starting comfy, but once you get use to the spaghetti, and you learn a couple of tricks is fun, but still is not user-friendly, btw if I found a more friendly alternative with the level of customization that comfy has, I would change in a heart beat

I'm gonna be honest, since I didn't really know what I was doing and was running into errors constantly, I just used the "SDXL - LoRA AI_characters standard v1.0" kohya preset, turned the batch size down and switched out xformers. I've realized it was probably a bad idea to keep it that way, cause I keep reading that 32 dims isn't really necessary, and I could probably go down to like 8 or even 4 and be able to do higher batch sizes with similar results, and there's probably a lot of other stuff I don't need

Yeah, I would say even 16 dim is pretty high. I usually keep it around 8 dim. Most of the lora training guides for beginners I have are for 1.5 but if you go to the lora training section of the vtai wiki linked in the OP you can see my old training settings in the SDXL ipynp linked.

Forge can't run LLMs, stable audio, 3d models or any other postprocessing tools that are not directly related to the 3 or 4 diffusion model types it supports. Here's the big reveal. It was ME that was training the Rexford lora.
It ended up being...alright? I feel like for my first Lora and with a very limited set (28 images), it's pretty good, but obviously pretty lacking compared to the actual good Loras here and on civitai. I haven't really figured out which epoch is the best, I've been using 90 for these, and it's pretty alright so far. Here's some different styles

Wow, that is pretty amazing. If and when I go over the flux I might need to make a wildcard for dirty talk, just some ohhs and ahhs and one liners. I actually made one for 1.5 to try and store some text generated in the meta data. The plan was to make a template to automatically grab that text and paste in the image via a photoshop automatic workflow. Yup, shame the tan lines situation is still a mess, there's even a bunch of tags for different patterns of tan lines on danbooru but they never come out right, maybe it'll get better in newer models.

I can't go back to that life. Dynamic prompts has made me do a lot of 'set it and forget it' type batch gens. I've been using it a lot longer than I haven't now.

nah I'm talking about how the dynamic prompts keeps picking the facial expression where they are smiling and showing their teeth way too much. So I'll have sets that I post where she has the same smile (showing her teeth) and there will be like 1 where she has her mouth closed/open/licking lips so it kinda looks repetitive. Could just me only me noticing and nitpicking since I want a variety. I just need to edit the tag choices available in the dynamic prompt so it won't choose that or tags that may result in similar expressions.
