Hmm not really! I've been pretty lucky with duos. But I haven't done much complicated stuff yet, just messing around with landscapes.
One thing I noticed is that I've been struggling doing gens quickly since I'm still a newbie. I always take a lot of time doing them... I'm surprised how many gens you're able to post, you even edit some of them manually, that's quite impressive. Also, looking good as always! Nice job!

I can't say I'm genning particularly fast, pin ups and single girl gens are my bread and butter so I got all the templates ready and can pump them out by the hundreds. I can end up taking over an hour for 1 image where the girls are interacting since I need to use photoshop and try to blend everything with inpainting.

The way I use it is I grab all my low res gens that I want to upscale and individually drag them to png info, send it to img2img, edit any LoRA weight if I need to, set upscale to 1.5, and press the enqueue button. Repeat for all the images i want to upscale.

Features are hit and miss depending on the lora and character. For instance, it's usually pretty easy to keep Tenma's signature features, but at some point Dizzy loses her head bumps, Jelly loses her antenna hairband, etc.
On SD1.5 I could push Pippa really far but with the current Pippa lora she tends to lose her signature ears and they become generic bunny ears. I basically can't push Neuro at all and Mint Fantome can only go so far.

Hmm yeah, the thumbnail pic maybe looks more flat than usual. I've been having more luck with other angles. I'm learning though, and I'm still tuning the artist mix, feet are fairly RNG and sometimes take an ungodly amount of inpainting. That said, I didn't inpaint that one, it came out as is.

Yeah too bad it's really convoluted to get started locally on non nvidia. Though I think there is a way to prompt on NAI with with ComfyUI so you can gen in batches and can use dynamic prompts. Goo anon is doing something like that I think.
But you're still getting used it, learning common tags, for positions, expressions and all that. Course digging around and artist mixing too, that should be priority, getting a style that you like.

Yeah I learned that certain artist mixes have some specific quirks that others don't have. That's the fun part of cooking up a mix. Mine does nice portraits, eyes, and naked body art, but it's extremely cockphobic. I've seen some eldritch horrors while doing nsfw. I even got jumpscared once.

The main difference between samplers is how many steps it takes to converge to a coherent image and what it keeps doing after that point. So if you don't know what a sampler does, run an xyz plot at step intervals of like 5 or 10. Your results will vary depending on the style and specific model.

Roughly paint out the bra in krita. And by rough I mean just take the dropper tool and select the same skin color and paint over the bra. Put pink dots where the nipples go, then try inpainting it.
Inpainting works by applying noise and then re-generating the pic in img2img, so the remnants of the bra will still be there after noise is applied and it will want to interpret it as clothes no matter how many tags you throw at it.

Okay, crash course, listen closely and follow the rule of KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid)
For your prompt, describe ONLY what you want in the image, or in the inpaint. In this case, 'nude, breasts, nipples'. That's it. That's the whole prompt. Clothes removed implies the presence of clothes. Topless implies a covered bottom. Nudist is a lifestyle/hobby. These are counterproductive tags. Your first instinct is always going to be to throw more tags at the problem. Ignore this instinct. Think like a machine.
For inpainting, denoise is your main slider. The lower it is the less noise it applies, the higher it is the more noise it applies, this results in smaller changes or larger changes respectively. If you're inpainting out a bra and parts of the bra remain, raise your denoise. If it turns her breasts into arms, lower your denoise. This is the basic principal of all img2img. If your UI does not let you alter it manually, you can try weighting your tags more, which brings us to
Tag weights. Each tag has a default weight of 1. You can increase or decrease weight using the following syntax '(nude:1.5)' '(nipples:1.2)' '(tan:0.8)' etc. The more weight a tag has, the more prominent it becomes in the image (and vice-versa). If certain tags or loras or base factors are preventing a tag's application, you can brute-force it by weighting up the tag.

It sometimes depends on the model and how it was trained but for most animagine mixes it doesn't matter too much if its at the top or the bottom but usually you want the prompt to be "1girl, name, from what series, everything else in any order, quality tags". For pony it's best to put quality tags (score tags) first. I did a quick test to make sure I wasn't writing nonsense and with the quality tags first the images were pretty much identical the cloud's were just slightly blurry.

The 2 are separate parts of the gen process

models are trained using a specific schedule but you can use different samplers when generating/inference

Samplers can be classified broadly into 2 types: ODE and SDE
Stable Diffusion uses a SDE formulation, which is why you tend to get better quality with SDE samplers

Flux and SD3 uses Rectified Flow which is an ODE formulation, which is why SDE samplers don't work on them

schedules seems to be not as rigid, so you can inference with a schedule different from what the model was trained on

nta but thanks for the confirmation. I'm not an early adopter but I'm still interested in new tech, I figured this would be the case. The only anime fine tunes (and by extension eventually vtubers) that I know of on the horizon are from Stable Cascade. I'm still hopeful for it because the architecture seems to be friendly to fine tuning on consumer grade hardware. Also I didn't know about the ODE vs SDE dichotomy so that's interesting info.

Random thought of the day, models not having chuuba knowledge (or other character knowledge) is, inherently, a good thing. Take a look at the recent witchposts by that one furry fella, in most instances the dress and hat is styled towards Mona from Genshin Impact, and in the instances where it isn't they're styled towards Megumin. You can always train loras on top of any model if you're an accuracyfag but you cannot get back the knowledge that never existed in the first place. I still remember how Impressed I was when I have first seen 'clothes removed' for a chuuba on NAI and they were the chuuba's clothes neatly packed or thrown on the bed. I think masked the shota first then prompted for Marine, x-ray, sweater with upscale, result was 'kinda Marine', so I fed that gen with the same mask and a more solid Marine. Then it was a simple mask the shota with shota tags and it's done.
Feeding the resultant img back to refine characters is actually a pretty neat way to get characters in images. You can gen generic girls and while it's in low res you turn them into the girl you want, it might take a few passes but it gets easier once you get the correct hair style and colour.

adding glowing eyes with low weight like 0.6 or something can sometimes shunt all the character luminance to the eyes, leaving the rest of the body to inherit the blueish light from the env

Test results: it is unfortunately not as easily promptable nor accurate when it comes to character details as NAI3 if you simply but the character name. No big surprise there, but it's definitely possible to get detailed outfits with more tags according to the outfit. The positives are, the detaset is really huge of various characters, not just chuubas. And the fact that it can get accurate details on chuubas without loras or anything as well as it has a big dataset of baked in artist styles is nothing to sneeze at. Also Don-chan got fucked up bad in all of these lol. Except the last 2 with artist styles, ironically.

That was one issue. Other big ones were the left lens (our left, Korone's right) being so close to her eye meant it would get overridden by the eye itself and there'd just be a big gap, or the frame would develop its own eyelashes, and every other point where stray hairs met the frame would result in breakages, misalignments, and whacky shit like the frame being in front of the hair but the lens being behind it. The big fix (for anyone wondering) was masking the whole frame (rather than the specific points that had issues, and only the frame, not the lenses and eyes) with a fairly high denoise (I think .75 but I didn't save the steps). I guess with just the frame highlighted the AI understood the concept better, though I still had to fix the bridge separately as that image shows. I cope and tell myself it's all part of the learning process, but I do wish I wasn't such a slow learner.

Either way it's nice knowing I'm not the only one suffering.

I use comfy simply because it really feels like I figured something out when I get things working right, like I actually know what's going on even though I don't really. Also I can simply disable groups or nodes to do certain things or not. Like I have a detailing series to do all the things like face, breasts, nipples, pussy, penis and hands and I can just turn any of them off if I don't need it for that gen while keeping all the others.

Yup those issues sound familiar. Sometimes a different model has easier time inpainting specific things, sometimes keeping the img2img prompt very simple helps, like not even having quality tags, just "glasses" and then low denoise. Sometimes iterating and photoshoping in between is the only way. And sometimes you forget to prune the prompt of unnecessary tags and don't mask the thing carefully, set some random denoise and it works on the first try. I on occasion play with the "Resize to" resolution if nothing goes the way it should go, might be placebo but it helped me a few times in the past. Hang in there anon.
