imo phase would have been better since Lia could have put a good word in for her but at least kawa let talent go without killing their IP and videos

Given what happened with Yuri, a very smart move in all honesty. Plus Mieko was doing Kawa's meet and greets so not surprising she went with them.

Only issue is kawa doesn't really have strength in viewership numbers. If she wanted more viewers, it wasn't the right place. If she just wants to do what she always does just with a manager and more support, she'll be okay.
