I never believed she needed to stay with Niji, its clear the restrictions of being a large corporate Vtuber were too much for her. As someone who enjoys a lot of phase Connect and Idol Corp streamers, the overly-stiff professionalism she faced is why I prefer these companies. At the end of the day I don't think she wanted to change her routine and ways especially since being a Niji didn't provide her anymore support or money than when she was an Indie. She didn't want to change so she ignored her senpai/genmates and probably only made those promises to change to Finana so she'd get off her back. Still none of the Indies she worked with in her PL have accused her of gaslighting and there are no past signs of malicious behaviour so I don't believe she had the bad intentions they are claiming.

If anything has come out of this, its confirmation that its better to stay as a large Indie rather than join the increasingly saturated new gens of Niji. I won't hate on Finana or her genmates though I think Kotoka handled her statement wrongly. I will still hate Niji, mainly because I have always believed they have mismanaged the Corp and are carried by talent by Finana, Vox and Rosemi. I will keep supporting her once she returns since I do not believe she is a bad person and neither Niji or any of the Livers can convince me otherwise.

Whatever your stance is on the Zaion issue, it's clear that this management team should be completely reworked or even purged.

I've never seen such a dysfunctional environment in v-tubing. For one reason or another, they need someone who can actually impose some order and accountability in that branch. Even if you say that Zaion was just that bad of an employee, somebody did hire her without assessing her character, somebody did nothing to set her straight, and somebody did see these issues and turned a blind eye until it spilled into a shitstorm.

Zaion is a symptom of a larger issue. NijiEN needs a come-to-Jesus meeting and stop generating yabs, and I think that's gonna start at the top.

Funny thing anon is one of the last streams I watched was an Elira stream. it was straight after the cancelled concert shitshow and she was having a pre game chat. she said something at the time that I found odd at the back of my mind but ignored because I wanted my comfy jrpg stream.
it was basically along the lines of chat saying it'll happen and then she replied by saying basically 'don't worry we'll make it happen'.
the emphasis she placed on the word 'make' at the time struck me as strange.

so yeah I think you've hit the nail on the head and the clique has management by the balls. it'd also explain a lot of other small recent events and why zaion was crucified at the stake yet most of their given reasons are things everyone else has done.

I pretty much phased out of watching Elira for a while now, mostly because I play jrpgs myself and don't think they're that good of a streaming content. But I'm not actually surprised that something like this happened, really.

Remember a dumb rrat a few months back about that one clip of Shu getting angry only once, and the rrat was that they all were so pissed off with the sudden Yugo graduation that Shu himself deadass threatened management a mass graduation if something like that ever happened again?
It was funny at that time. Now it feels way too close to what may have actually happened. It would also make sense with the whole concert bullshit, because that one is JP managed and is out of control of EN management, so they can't threaten their way into getting it un-cancelled.

There is probably some point where speculations become unhealthy with lack of information, but they're just straight-up giving us fuel for that speculation at this point. It's like they didn't learn from their "family" tweet bullshit being exposed as fake and coordinated
