It feels also like a catalyst for members to think of collabs outside of their comfort zone or just cross branch projects in general.

So far after Umisea: Suisei, Pekora, Kiara, Calli, Reine have brought interest in themed units.
Holorodents, Holobirds, Holospace and Calli mentioned talking to Ollie about putting together a death themed unit with Rushia, and lo and behold Rushia contacted Calli first for a collab.

In a way, I like to imagine Gura losing her englisj speaking fanbase by pandering to japanese only
Maybe she will become a literal parrot saying only "a" and "shark", cause we all know she will never learn japanese

The minecraft collab was great, the short videos and song weren't. I'm not criticizing the very idea of forming this unit and producing content, I'm just criticizing some of the content.

To be fair, aside from clips Japs know barely anything about Gura at all. Marine was all worried about being too forward before their collab project, but surprised Gura was throwing her dirty jokes. Gura is a complete erogaki who talks about eroge and foot fetishism, but the Japs just see "wwww same-chan "a" tte kawaii naaaaaa"

Theme wise Ina doesn't belong in it and is only there for support. This is definitely about promoting Gura and using her to boose Marine and Aqua numbers and Ina acting as support character. Too bad they have no chemistry. Also the song sucks. The choice to have them say overlapping in JP and EN is a stupid choice, it comes off and messy and off rhythm because of the difference in phrasing.

So what if it's forced, It's nice to see the JP and EN group collab and sing together like this.
I don't think there's anything wrong with this and getting others involved with the JP side is a good thing.
The song is okay it's middle ground, It's one of them ideas where you throw it out there to see if swims or drowns. I do agree that stuff like this needs a bit more time to develop like more bonding time but I guess they wanted to get this ready for summer but was a bit too slow.
