The difference is that has a recognizable rhythm. The Umi song has literally nothing. I can't fathom how anyone likes it, unless they just accept whatever has talents they like associated with it that they like. Hell, I'm into so many types of music--ambient, progressive metal, stuff with dissonant timings, but there's always some underlying pleasure or rhythm to them, this thing has nothing.
