>every NijiEN member averages about 1000 viewers for their normal streams
>collab stream has 7000 viewers
Does that mean that each NijiEN member has 1000 unique viewers who only watch them and don't watch anyone else in NijiEN, so when they all gather together it makes 7000?

>> No.9918103

>>9917913
I don't typically watch NijiEN cause I don't enjoy APEX, Minecraft, Genshin, etc. The fact that it's a collab had me interested in checking them out.

collab for an upstart nijien that started a few months ago: gets 7000+ viewers.
collab for an established holoen that started for over a year already: only gets 10000+ viewers.

not bad for anycolor.

How did you hear about Rosemi then? She's by far the least popular of the six and yet you seem to know about her.

She's one of the first vtubers that got western exposure, so that literally explains everything.

They really aren't that bad for that nowadays to be honest though it seems like they have been moving more into content that interests them. Selen normally plays Apex a couple of times a week because its her big draw. Then for the other 5 members you might get one of those three games once in a week normally, sometimes two, but when there is normally 6 streams a week thats not so bad.

>> No.9921745

I thought collabs always get worse numbers than solo streams, why is NijiEN such an anomaly compared to HoloEN?

>> No.9921748

>>9921651
It feels like unlike Hololive where everyone seems obligated to play Minecraft to be part of the server, Nijisanji doesn't force anyone to play Minecraft so the only ones that play it heavily are ones who genuinely can't get enough of it, like Pomu.

>> No.9921815

>>9921748
At the start it kind of felt like Apex, Genshin and Minecraft were three certainties taking up half the week and then they would fit the rest of their schedule around those. Now it is more like yeah the people who are actually into those games will put them into their schedule as they see fit or not.

>> No.9921816

>>9921745
Why would that be true? Collabs get better numbers because they're rare treats so people who don't keep up with every stream will still sit down for a collab.

>> No.9922073

>>9921745
Easy to explain.
Hololive: Forced corporate collab and participation and it's clear there's no true chemistry.
Nijisanji: Basically a group of people having fun that actually want to collab with each other, En Wise ignoring Past Life interactions you can tell they actually have chemistry.
>Hololive: Not as many talents but most of their talents are heavily viewed and extremely dedicated to their oshi so collabs suffer unless its a rare cross gen/branch collab that may peak interest.
>Nijisanji: Numerous talents, some not viewed as much as others but (if you speak the language) you tend to watch many of them and when they collab it's fun to see their interaction because they seem like a legit group of friends just chilling.

>> No.9922597

>>9922073
How can Nijisanji feel like a "legit group of friends" when there are over a hundred of them? To this day there are still livers who have never met each other despite being around for 3+ years, because there's so many people it's impossible to meet all of them.

>> No.9922670

>>9922597
Because the actual friends collab with each other rather than in time based corpo groupings.

>> No.9922717

>>9922670
Here's my question to you: Do you only use the word corpo because of Cyberpunk 2077? I never saw anyone say corpo until that game came out. Now people say it all the time.

>> No.9922836

>>9922717
I thought corpo was just board shorthand for corporate vtuber. Never played Cyberpunk. I just picked it up from board lingo.

It is indeed shorthand, some go shorter and just say "corp", I never personally played Cyberpunk but it's like how people shorten independent chubbas to Indie.
