EN launched right when the whole world was on lockdown, they knew they were fortuitous, which is why they all occasionally drop shit like "I hope you guys keep watching from time to time...". A lot of people were working from home, (and I personally took a few months off from work) which allowed them the opportunity to catch every stream while working. That's not really the case anymore now, and with things opening back up, a lot of former viewers are less likely to even watch every VOD, in lieu of other activities they can now do again. I know that, at least calli, mentioned that she does take into account her stream metrics, because she knows going forward, she's got to provide targeted content to retain viewers.

Sana's doing fine in the superchats and her artist job is probably pretty profitable, however I imagine she'd still want and like to have more people tune in to her streams. Yes, IRyS had more explosive growth at the start. She debuted to a lot of hype and praise largely due to the impact of her MVs. The real issue with EN2 is thar none of them had that type of entrance, and they had fo since viewslership are now spread out between 5 people, unlike with IRyS. Basically no Holo is a failure if you compare to 2views, even Anya. That is kind of cheap though because when you compare million+ sub too dogs of the industry to <5k subs indie noobs with 0 connections/automatic clout like Holo? That is like clubbing baby seals, or maybe like comparing a Ferrari to a scooter. Comparing Holos to each other however is like comparing various sports cars next to each other so is a more sensible way. Sana was nerfed by design from the get go and Susaned brutally hard but, at least has a good size viewer base (not far from her genmates with like 100k more subs) and she does about as good as the gen average in SC revenue. I want her to be successful but am gonna call a spade a spade, what she is doing works, it's passable content, just not standout and clearly not resonating a lot with audiences. I tried watching a Hakos stream the other day, that Pedro game, sitting through an hour if it was actually painful. What I would say is part of the issue is clearly her manager has a bit list of pure kusoge to play and she, not being a gamer or caring much about games, probably just goes "sure whatever if it fills up my schedule. You say nobody/few people played it? That means I get first dibs, maybe it's a buff game, yeeez." Not knowing any better she might not be able to look at a game and realize "you know, I think I can see why no Holos touch this one much." She is not a very exciting streamer and playing really really really boring games. A talented, experienced veteran streamer like Peko could make a shit game fun but Hakos is inexperienced and let's just say does not have a Peko tier charm. She may eventually get there - maybe in a year we will be like "damn remember when she was stiff and boring" but for now, nope she is stiff and fake sounding and makes a boring game worse.

Please point out where I said EVERY EN2 is growing slower than EVERY ID2. What I said is their overall growth as a GROUP looks more like ID2 than EN1. Yes even Sana will likely surpass Anya before long but I doubt she will ever catch up to Ina/Kusatori or reach 1m in the same timeframe they did.

The oldest data I can find is from December and it shows the EN1 girls growing at ~15-18% 4 months after debut, compare that to EN2 who are growing at ~6-9% only 3 weeks in.
