I’m gonna be real here, I liked the video, it was funny but the ENs need to work on their voice acting a little bit. With that said, what is the purpose of this? I would understand if they did it in during summer but summer is over. This just seemed so weird and out of the blue, these 4 are also a weird combination of people. Why not just make the already established groups as an official one like Holotori, with that you can guarantee the chemistry between talents. If they keep this up with different themes, I can just imagine the awkwardness between the talents who don’t really interact much with each other

The Japanese also need to work on their joke writing skills. I didn't think it was funny. I can tolerate jap humor in HoloGra because it's either dumb word puns or lolsorandum slapstick, and most importantly is so fast paced that no individual bad joke overstays its welcome, but this "UmiSea" didn't work the same way. It was much slower, and it was apparent that it was originally written by a Japanese, given how "flat" the jokes were (yes, the delivery of the ENs was pretty amateurish, Ina's more than Gura's, but they also had crap to work with)... haha flat, amirite? haha tentacles... and the writer also apparently hasn't watched any EN streams recently, because his (mis)characterizations of Ina and Gura smelled of just going off second hand impressions and not how they actually act.
(Sure, that's a thing in the actual HoloGra also, but at least that has some production value to paper over those cracks, which "UmiSea" didn't... and it wasn't even "so bad that it loops back to SOVLful again", it was... just lame.)

The breakneck pace of HoloGra at least makes the bad jokes more tolerable, because by the time you notice one, it has already zipped by and three other ones have taken their chance.

This limited-animation cartoon felt more like a "voice manga" (hell, I've seen fan animations on yt with better production values), and it "lingered" too much on the fewer, and worse, jokes it had, so that made them more noticeable.

Maybe it'll improve over time, or maybe you just have to play it at 2x speed to make it HoloGra tolerable.

Oh yeah obviously it'll take time, and people inherently have different aptitudes for it so there's gonna be variety in how long it takes. However, I would assume that this project isn't something that was only initiated last month and left them with just a couple of weeks of preparation, and that they'd have a decent amount of practice, though we obviously don't really know the details.
I guess we'll see how they do in future EN animations (excluding the remaining umisea stuff, since they were probably recording during the same period).

Gura is unironically better at EN voice acting than most dubshit I've seen. Just goes to show that sticking to your own voice/self is the best way to do it.
Still, Aqua and Marine were naturals, and I'm sure HoloGra experience helped. I think Ina might be better if she had JP lines since I'm guessing she has more familiarity with it that way since I doubt she's a dubshitter, just based on her pronunciation ability and singing.
I much prefer the pacing, format, and light-hearted humor here over the more over-the-top HoloGra.
