I have no issue with women getting their own vtubers, but I think this prediction is incorrect. Most of the big male vtubers fans on the Japanese side aren't women but males. They serve the same function as normal face streamers on twitch do in the west, with the same kind of demographic, only it's Japan so streaming with an anime avatar isn't weird to non-otaku. This isn't going to be replicated in the west, so you'll never see them with massive numbers.

This whole idea people have that NijiEN males will be super popular stemming from the fact that "male members of niji do better" is based on a misrepresentation of Nijisanji. The popular males of Nijisanji are only like 7/80 JP members while the other males are left to irrelevancy with a little ship with someone that people might care about but not really. Outside of Japan it's a completely different story, in ID, on average the women do better. In China, they have like 1 popular boy there and occasionally his fujo ship partner while everyone else is watching the girls. Nobody watches KR and even then you have the top members(a woman) completely decimating everyone, including the two men in that group. Not really. Whether every Nijimale is wildly successful is irrelevant when they still have the highest amount of successful males in any vtuber agency. All of the Eden gumi males are doing very well for themselves. At this point Nijisanji is synonymous with male vtubers.
I don't think they'll all be Kuzuha tier (remember he took years to get where he is as well) right away but it's fucking obvious that they'll be popular on some level. You also have to keep in mind some factors like Anykara specifically searching for multilinguals as we'll seen with other nijiENs. If an EN Nijimale speaks English there's no reason he can't cultivate a Japanese audience as well.
Whether they'll be successful compared to the girls isn't as important as the fact that they will be successful, and they'll bring in a new audience specifically interested in corporate male EN vtubers. I don't agree with OP on why, but they most definitely will change the western market, even if only for western male indies to have an ideal to strive after like how HoloEN gave female western indies an ideal to strive after.
