That's just your personal take, healthy balance is the ideal, the early generations like Kizuna Ai went hard into the roleplaying aspect and it's outdated now, it can only be sustainable in pre-recorded videos and it doesn't lend well to livestreams, which is why they fell out of flavor, when you're watching a bunch of pre-recorded videos you might as well use that time to watch a series or anime.
