Gura went up due to Minecraft shenanigans. Really if they cared about numbers all Holos would play more MC.

Ame's erratic schedule + watchalongs hurt her

Ina down due to playing series games. Kind of the same as Kiara Skyward Sword hurts her.

IRyS skewed by no singing stream yet this month and a couple low # collabs outside her timeslot.

EN2 obviously losing the debut momentum.

Irys hasn't done her karaokes yet this month, those usually drag up her median numbers since they're all 10k+.

I had to look up Ame's numbers to see for myself and jfc, she'll need to do a lot of streams to make up for her debuffs.
The 42 min "[Abex] maybe" stream is actually infuriating in a numbers perspective. Played 2 short games in 20 mins before "tummy hort" and went into 20 mins of superchat reading. Just don't stream if you're not feeling well Ame.

From looking at EN's numbers in the past few months, the only games that bring consistent numbers are Minecraft (for Holos), FoTM games that people are hyped for, and games the streamer is famously good at. Old games are an extra debuff.
Anything else is going to get you "normal" numbers, which for Selen is in the the 1.5-2.5k range.

The Minecraft is actually interesting, because you would think that people would tire of a MC only streamer, and other games would be needed to "spice" things up, yet there are so many JP streamers that are all in on the Minecraft/Apex rotation and their viewership is really steady.

I wonder if that would work in the West, minus Apex of course its not a big draw there.

Minecraft for Holos is an overarching anime plot. The interactions and impromptu collabs makes its pretty entertaining. Unfortunately, there's no MC autist yet on EN side which makes it hard to watch EN Minecraft sometimes. Ame just does whatever she wants without completing a single build in a stream unlike Ina. Ina and Gura's MCs is good because INA has actual objectives to do and Gura is a good talker.

>> No.9609564

If Gura can somehow incline to 20k with Warioware, that's actually pretty great. Marine and Kanata off-collab of it could only get 26k.
It's not a debuff game, but it's not a buff game either.

The problem with most other games is that streamers mostly focus on playing the game straight, rather than building something unique of off whatever they play.
It's why Passpartout is also a staple and a buff game to those who can draw; content creation is literally expected and simple playthroughs don't cut it.

>> No.9609993

Minecraft is really only a Holo buff thing and few a few Nijis, for reasons other anons have said already. It's a popular sandbox game where you can always have new projects and events, but it is capped without collab potential.

>Apex
Apex streamers in Japan are like LoL streamers in the west. A near endless pool of viewers but also a shitton of competition. If you're at the top, then you have access to a huge viewerbase that will always be interested, but it's really easy to be overlooked because of how many Apex streamers there are.

Now that she is on another stage she is back at 18.5k, lol. Yea, looks like it's one of those games where they cycle between gaining viewers as they play an actual game (or a set of minigames in this case) and then drop a lot of viewers when they finish and start a new one, kinda like apex i guess but faster and not quite as brutal in the drop.

>Is anniversary buff that's week if it isn't 3D?
18k buff is a pretty good one for Ina, but it's usually totsus that drive up the numbers for anniversary/bday streams.
I do think it was a bit of an underperformance considering Gura got 20k and Council got 31k in their collabs today. Maybe a part of Ina's audience just wasn't available this weekend.

This would never happen with the KING because his viewers are loyal. Holoshit box pushing/view funneling was exposed in the MK tourney. Without it, their streamers are midgets. Kuzuha can stream together with a million of different POVs and he still gets good numbers.

Ya mb, it was a collab, not a tournament lol.

Update on the Pokemon Unite tournament for numbers:
Kuzuha's team is playing in about an hour or so and his peak will depend on if he reaches/wins the finals. Looking at the brackets tho, his team is very likely making it out of his side and the only team that really matches up is Fuwa's team, but even then, Kuzuha's team won a lot of scrims against them yesterday.
50k+ is very possible imo.
