That's because Twitch streamers typically keep up with their alerts during the streams they're doing or catch up quickly at the end. Also, a lot of Twitch donos are TTS'd so the audience can hear it anyway. They still miss a few, though.

I dunno who the fuck you're talking about but none of the streamers I watch do that. If a donation gets "ignored" it is because they missed it. Even then, they make up for it later because they can see their alerts on their control panels.
